Course Title: S-347: Demobilization Unit Leader Category: Wildland Fire
Course Details:
This course is designed to prepare the student to accomplish the duties and responsibilities of a demobilization unit leader (DMOB) on a large incident.
Topics include: organizing the unit, developing and writing the demobilization plan, and implementing the plan.
A final simulation in which the students will deal with a series of hypothetical problems that could arise in the demobilization process, builds on data created in Resource Unit Leader (S-348). The course is designed to be given together with, and immediately following Resources Unit Leader (S-348).
Duration: 8 hrs (classes are a normally a maximum of 8 hrs per day class time)
