My name is Seth Johnson and I'm a proud father of two daughters. We live in El Dorado Hills, CA. I'm a Fire Captain for Menlo Park Fire District and the Rescue Team Coordinator (Rescue Team Manager) for FEMA US&R California Task Force 3. I have 30 years' experience in the Fire Service, and 23 years in the US&R world. My rescue experience includes well over twenty land and water-based rescue deployments with CATF3 and our OES Swiftwater Rescue Team. I'm the Coordinator for our in-house Heavy Rescue (US&R Type 1) and an Air Boat, IRB, Rigid Hull and Jet Ski operator. I teach many rescue disciplines in both land and water rescue. Rescue is my absolute passion and to me there's nothing better than being able to pass those KSA's along to other professionals.
