Course Information:
This course provides classroom instruction and practical application to develop competency for water rescue boat operations. The course is designed specifically for open water environments.
Upon completion, the student will be capable of operating
Course Duration: 32 hrs (classes are a normally a maximum of 8 hrs per day class time)
Course Prerequisites: It is recommended that students have completed the Open Water Rescuer or equivalent. Students must possess the physical ability to conduct self-rescue on a rescue boat.
Course Certification: California State Fire Training in California, other states and countries an FMC certification that meets NFPA 1670 standard for Operations and Training for Technical Search and Rescue Incidents, NFPA 1006 Standards for Technical Rescue Personnel Prof
