Scott has over 32 years of experience in prehospital care, the past 28 as a Firefighter/Paramedic. Scott is a Captian Paramedice with the Sacramento Metro Fire District and is currently assigned as supervisor of Engine and Medic 53, the busiest unit in the district accounting for well over 8500 runs a year.  Scott's collateral duties include Sacramento's Urban Search and Rescue Team, CA-T.F. 7, since 1992.  For the past 14 years he has been the Medical Team Coordinator, responsible for training and cache development. He has participated in 6 team developments, most recently the World Trade Center Disaster.  For the past 9 years, Scott has been a qualified Medical Unit Leader and is assigned to CIIMT 3. His medical unit has treats over 2600 firefighters a year and he has taken part in many technical rescues over the years.
